Waunakee Thursday night!

Just 3 days left to turn in your Summer Reading sheets, which mean 3 days until the End of Summer Fest on Thursday 8/17!

This year we'll have SoHo Gourmet Cuisines , Quick Chef Inc and Big Bar for food, so come hungry! In addition to yard games, a bounce house, and the Dane County Trash Lab for fun activities, we will have a screen printing station where you can bring a light-colored T Shirt or use one of our tote bags to make your own library swag!

The forecast is looking good for now, but in the case of rain, we'll still set up inside with the bounce house and screen print station to celebrate a great summer at the library!

The dragon boat festival is coming up again! Mama so want to share her love and make some of her famous Chinese tamales (Zongzi) for you. Keeping it nice and simple, these are made with marinated pork, Chinese sausage, yellow beans, and glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. Each handmade with love 😍

Things to know:

They are $5/ea and minimum 5 per order
They come fresh, reheat is simple
They also freeze well for a snack in the future :)

Order deadline is June 16th
