Just checking in as we are at the midway mark of the wedding season. We have 2 weeks off right now which are the first weekends since April that we’ve had free. It feels good! I celebrated my 60th birthday July 6 @ our cabin and then took a 7-day Alaskan cruise/inside passage/Glacier Bay with my husband who turned 60 on Thursday and went with another couple. It’s been a month of celebrating! 🎂🎉

We have 6 weddings in August and 18 in September. So lots of excitement ahead in the coming months. Our teams are excited to bring on the fall weddings and ready to give you our very best! We are grateful and thankful for all our couples that trust One More for their most important day of their lives! ❤️💍

Wishing everyone a very happy Independence Day! We’ve made it through the first half of the wedding season with Stars and Stripes! 🇺🇸 Our teams have done a great job and I so love getting those texts and emails from our happy clients.

We’ve also been busy with graduation parties, birthdays and celebrations of life. If there’s a reason to celebrate, we’ve got you covered. 😉
We’ve done 4 ‘mocktail only’ (no alcohol, but signature non-alcoholic drinks) grad parties in the last two weeks. The clients didn’t realize they could have a bar set up with no alcohol. But, they sure can and it’s been a fun addition to their grad parties. 🥰
We get a little break now in July/August and then it’s a super busy fall full of weddings every weekend.

Saturday was a spectacular day for a wedding or anything outside. You couldn’t have ordered anything better! We had 3 weddings that day and all went fantastic!
I was able to work it with 2 of my 3 sons. How fun! (Missing Jake as he’s now in Phoenix). We needed a 3rd bartender as a ‘go between’ while running two bars simultaneously. My son Carson is reluctant when asked to help (big gatherings of people - not his thing!😅) but he did amazing and I think getting a little comfortable in this environment. 🥰
Stephanie and Dylan’s family and friends were so much fun and Chevy even said ‘I think this was the most fun group i’ve ever served!’
The Barn on 95 was nothing short of spectacular. The hosts Tim & Lori have outdone themselves by providing so many fun extras around the property. Relaxing and fun for all!
I was recognized by a few guests as their school bus driver back in the day and also as the owner of Marilyn’s Boutique. So fun to be remembered for those cherished years of my life. Now I’m bartending! Who knew those kids would be getting a drink from
their bus driver one day. Isn’t life funny!?

Our second year working at the Bids for Kids St. Michael Catholic School fundraiser was so much fun! This years theme was Vintage Circus. The many volunteers put together an amazing evening with top notch decorating details (I wish I had taken more photos as it was in full swing!) and so many generous people donated wonderful baskets, live auction items and of course the community members that ‘won’ these fabulous offerings!
Our team dressed up as mimes for the themed event and mixed some fun signature drinks with cotton candy and edible glitter (again, too busy to capture photos). We love working at these wonderful, community events. Congrats to STMCS for putting on such a fantastic evening and allowing us to serve you!

It’s been a while since I’ve checked in! After a very strange winter of hardly any snow and then some late snowstorms, it looks like spring may finally be here to stay!🌷☀️

Our first spring wedding is just a couple of weeks away and we are so excited to get back into the busy wedding season.

We’ve been serving at birthday celebrations, corporate events and fundraisers the last couple of months.

I was able to get in a nice Florida vacation and have our family join us for part of it. Jake and Chevy (my One More bartending partners and sons) made it down - photos below!

Sandy held down the fort and worked a fun surprise 40th bday party our client planned for his wife. 🥰
He did a great job and his wife was thrilled. 👏

We had a 5-year business anniversary celebration on Friday for a client. My son, Chevy worked the event of roughly 75 guests.
As a business owner, you want to send the best. As a Mom, you pray the confidence you have in your child, will give your client the best!

Just a little ‘feel good’ post unrelated to bartending, but glad to be a ‘VERY little’ part of something amazing. Jake’s sweet girlfriend’s Dad ran a 50 MILE ultramarathon down in Phoenix yesterday
where Jake and Cailin now reside. After his amazing finish, he enjoyed a cold beverage with one of our can Koozies. 🥰
Congrats to Chris on such an amazing accomplishment - thanks for cheering with our ‘One More’ Koozie! We salute you! 🍻👏💪🏻🏃‍♂️

We were blessed to serve at the ‘Anchored in Hope’ Cornerstone Gala Friday evening for roughly 400 guests. It was a beautiful evening learning about and celebrating the successes that Cornerstone provides for our community (please see photo). The outpouring of support and generosity was remarkable to witness as was the fellowship in the rooms.
O’Sullivan Auctioneers puts on quite a production with their hard working staff to help Cornerstone meet their fundraising goals. I believe they surpassed their goals as the staff was in awe of the generosity of prayers answered. ❤️🙏🏻

Happy New Year from your bartending team! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, and we hope you and your families are doing well.
We’ve been enjoying some time off from the busy wedding season, had a great Christmas, and just celebrated Chevy’s 21st birthday in Vegas! (Chevy was born on New Year’s Day!)

Our calendar is filling up for ‘24 and on its way for 2025 already. We’re excited to work with our fantastic teams again and all of our wonderful clients.

Never say never! We were blessed to serve our 4th year at the annual Haven of Hope fundraiser gala on Saturday. After an illness and family health emergency with my bartender teammates, I decided to ask my middle son, Carson, if he would like to join me last minute.

Carson will generally say ‘no way’ as bartending is not his type of gig. Knowing this would not be the normal wedding rush, and the foundation we will be serving (a faith based horse farm that provides horse therapy and prayer for anyone in need free of charge), I thought this could be much more than a bartending job for Carson. To hear their stories of faith and witness the love and hope in the room…Carson was tuned in to their messages and learned about beer & wine (he’s 22 and never drank alcohol) and enjoyed it!

Carson has witnessed our getting supplies, packing and unpacking vehicles, stress, and busy running around and now understands just a bit of what his Mom and other two brothers do.🥰

This was a special time that I was rewarded with to have my 3rd son, by my side. Nice job Carson! You got out of your comfort zone and killed it!

We had the pleasure of welcoming guests to the grand opening of in Minnetonka yesterday. The Smokey Old Fashioned was a hit and so fun to make! The signature ‘BluSky’ drink was delicious (like drinking candy) and looked like a clouds in the sky. 🥰

Such a fun group for the ribbon cutting and the hostess, Bobbi Jo, set the stage for a good time!

I’ve been at a loss for words this past week. Last weekend we wrapped up our wedding season with the final 3 weddings of 2023.
In roughly 6 months, we served at 100 weddings. Wow! To remember the excitement, anxiety, worry, planning, prayers, that were ahead of me…and now looking back. We did it!
It was hard, it was fun, it was rewarding, and it was amazingly stressing me out. Ha ha.
That is a lot of responsibility to take on. I thank God for the amazing staff that came before me to deliver their excellent service. My youngest son, Chevy, stepped into my shoes several times so I could enjoy some weekends at the cabin (yes, worry from there too).
A huge thank you to the venues that referred their clients to us. A huge thank you to the caterers that supported us. A huge thank you to the wedding planners that supported us.
Last, but not least - anyone that stepped in to serve for us. One wedding or 30. You all played an important role for someone’s favorite day of their lives. I thank you tremendously. 🙏🏻❤️
While I clean up my office and try to get my life back in order (ha ha), I am happy, at ease, relaxed, thankful and grateful.
The race continues on to 2024 and the quote requests are coming in. I just received another one today for 2025. Oh boy! Thank goodness I have a 6 month recovery ahead.
One more item…my partner and reason I started this business was to work with my son, Jake. A little side hustle. 😉
Jake has moved away to Phoenix, AZ a week ago. He’s followed his curious and adventurous side along with a special lady in his life. He will be missed tremendously, but he tells me “wedding season is just starting up down here”. One More / South? 🤔🤪😉

It’s been a while since I’ve updated on the weddings we’ve had recently. It’s definitely been the busiest wedding season to date! They’ve been bigger, quite thirsty, and have added special requests to their day. This has thrown our staff into some crazy situations and the only way out, is to keep moving! 🤪
Some ingredients weren’t supplied, a surprise ‘your moving the bar to another location!’, weather issues, etc.
It can turn a calm arrival and setup into a whirlwind when some of these things happen.
There’s been some rough moments for our staff and thankfully in the end - they worked through it and we have happy customers.
If anyone thinks this job is easy and anyone can do it - I beg to differ. Yes, there’s easy parts. But you will be held to extreme circumstances at times and you must push through - only the strong survive! 💪🏻🥰
Thank you staff for showing up with smiles all fresh and clean and coming back exhausted, sweaty and needing another shower. You guys rock! Here’s a few photos from the past couple weeks.

When I was a little girl growing up in Lutsen, MN with a sister 5 years older than me, never once did we think we’d be where we are in life today.

I have a successful mobile Bartending business in Mpls. with more work than I can hardly handle and then reaching out to my sister in NYC this morning to see how she’s doing, and I get this text back as she was too busy to answer the phone.

Melody runs a fantastic food catering business and has grown it exponentially over the past several years. She works tirelessly for her business and her clients. She loves what she does, as do I.

Our Dad was an entrepreneur. He had a lot of vision - LARGE vision. We got that ‘you can do anything if you put your mind to it’ gene from him. 🥰

It’s just interesting to look back at how we’re doing very similar things in life today! Managing, organizing and reaching for the stars in all that we do to help someone have the best day of their lives! Pretty cool. 🥰. Thanks Pops. You are so missed and you’d be so proud!
