Our little lady bug is about to start her senior year! Last night’s photo session felt like a full-circle moment. I used to spend almost every weekend doing Matti’s hair, makeup, and outfits for pictures when she was younger—even if she wasn’t always thrilled about it. Haha! Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Stoesz! Saturday was a very emotional day. I’ve known Madi since we were in the single digits. We have experienced quite a lot of life together and I know we will continue to. Watching Madi and Cal tie the knot and being apart of their day was one of those full circle moments. You talk about it and dream about it as a kid and then one day, it’s here. Everything was perfect and I am so grateful to be apart of the Aafedt’s and Stoesz’s story. 🤍

I recently went on my first solo trip and it was the best experience. Regardless of a concert and flight cancellation, I had the time of my life. Hiking up a mountain, exploring red rocks, and diving into downtown never was the best experience. And the food was phenomenal! However, the ice cream unfortunately did not top . If I could do it all again I would, and I can’t wait for our next trip. 😇

Fun update! My partner and I are on a trip to Rome this week and it’s been an amazing experience thus far. I’ve been using my Minolta rangefinder the entire trip. It’s been a life changing experience, forcing me to be more disciplined and diligent with what I am photographing. More attention to each setting, the detail, what is in and out of the frame, and how many exposures left on my film. I can’t wait to get these developed!

P.S. I did accidentally throw away my lens cap. My shutter trigger also came unglued from the camera so I get to stop in a repair shop tomorrow! I’m very excited for this experience 😂

Happy New Year! Documenting Ethan and Elia's wedding was definitely one of my 2023 highlights. Actually, I think it would be safe to say every wedding I documented this year made my highlight list. I expect nothing but the same turn out for 2024!! 🎉🎉

I haven’t shared much about me lately. So here’s a few fun facts about me! A few of my favorite hobbies are playing with 35mm film, obsessing over our animals, fiddling with our plants, and cooking! When winter rolls around I find myself partaking in all of these activities just a little more than usual.
