On the docket today: hand-dyeing a backdrop, finish making a wine fountain (🧐), water 800 leftover Boston ferns, organize deliveries for the Hudson House project, string a 120 ft faux floral garland and a lunch meeting with our homegirls and . BUT FIRST: appreciate a clean studio while we can.

Today is our last day in our first Big Kid Studio. And while we’re moving a mere one block over, it feels like a giant, exciting, terrifying, thrilling leap into the universe. We LOVED this studio and loved it hard (the scratched wall paint, empty bourbon bottles, dinged doorways, and dust bunnies prove it) and it will always represent 2 years of achingly good and difficult growing pains. We figured out or dream future and dream collective and dream life in this studio. And now we have to leave it to take a step toward all that dreaming. It’s terrifying. And we can’t wait to share.
