I grabbed some cash (no wallet) and ran to get some Halloween candy a little while ago... but damn!! The prices on Halloween candy is wild now?!

Anyway, I brought two bags with me to the check out that I didn't have enough for, hoping I'd get a coupon if I rang them up separately, but I did not. Wack.

So, I went to put one bag back. A man stopped me and was like what's wrong with that one?? I thought it was a great deal! I was like oh it is, I think one bag will be enough though. *lies* He was like in East Providence?! No way! You need more! I was like eh my neighborhood is quiet. He was like you should get it, I'm getting 4 bags and my neighborhood is quiet too! I was like ahhh I'll probably come back later, I need to grab more money out of my car *again, lies, I didn't have any other cash or cards with me but at this point I was embarrassed 🤦🏼‍♀️ why? I don't know lol* this man pulls out cash and was like how much do you need?! I was like nooo I couldn't, thank you so much though! He was like yes you can, it's ok, is $2 enough? (Doing math in my head quick I said ...yeees..?) He hands it to me and I didn't know what to say, but are you sure, are you serious, thank you so much! Then he's like yes, take it, get the kids candy! Told me about his 8 grandkids and that he coaches softball then he gave me his business card, and I'll tell you what, no offense, but I can see through politicians - this man was just being good - I look at the card, and he's on the city counsel! I need to do my due diligence, but I think someone just earned my vote - that was him being a good human to another human for no reason other than being kind, and it was so darn nice and made my day! You know I absolutely love hearing of someone who does a good deed - and that's the kind of person I want repping my city. 💯

That thing happened again where one kid came up to show me their painting, and then another, and then another, so I invited all the kids to come up so I can show everyone their paintings if they wanted - their smiles said it all, they were so proud, and I love it!!

This is my fav little neighbors painting - how awesome is this?! Woohoo!!

I'm so proud, honored and excited to be a part of the first Halloween Parade and festival in our new home town!!

It's a free paint party for all ages, amongst all the other fun!!!

Happening this Saturday at Crescent Park Looff Carousel in Riverside, Rhode Island.

The parade kicks off at 11 am from Riverside Square.
Festival runs from 11 am to 4pm
Beer Garden open from 11 am to 3pm
Cobra Drumline 12-12:45
Kate and the Mongrels 1 pm to 2 pm
Mermaid Masterpieces 2:00 pm to 2:30 (free for all ages)
Kate and the Mongrels back on 2:45-3:45

Festival closes at 4pm

Just found out about this: this sums up my day enjoying the Broadway street fair! 🤣🤣🤣

I highly recommend having a birthday on street fair day, especially if you're gonna throw a paint party there - the amount of people that stopped and screamed Happy Birthday to me was WILD!!
.. and let's be real, I look incredible for just turning 27 and a half. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much for the birthday love!! I had a truly wonderful day!!

It started with a gorgeous hydrangea and an adorable succulent with the sweetest card waiting for me on the counter... then I left to go do a party for the kids at the Broadway street fair...I called to order my tea at Slim and someone already got one for me.. then brought it to my area for the street fair - WHAT!!! Such an awesome surprise, thank you Debbie! Then, mom came to hang with me for a while and helped me set up for the painting! Then, we had an awesome quick paint party, so fun! Then I saw a ton of friends there, it was just awesome! Then mom and I went to food love for a slice and salad, best pizza in the state - so bomb 💯 then I was driving home and knew Nick wouldn't be off for a few hours, so I decided to play my favorite slots at Tiverton casino - so fun! Then, came home, and some of my favorite neighbors invited me up to hang out for their podcast! It was hilarious and I love it! Fun fact, two of the guys just started stand up - you know I love that! Then came home to my man and my cat, filled with happy energy!

Thank you all for giving me such a wonderful birthday!! I feel so freakin loved, it's the best. 💜

Thank you SO MUCH to the fine people with the Broadway Street fair for inviting me to join you in being a tiny part in throwing the most epic event Newport has ever had! You are all amazing - congratulations on another huge successful street fair! You made thousands and thousands and thousands of peoples day!! I love it!!

My Mom is SO special, that today for her birthday, she got a fantastic lunch at Galliford's Restaurant & Tavern at Southwick's Zoo, a visit right at her table from the executive chef, said chef gave her AND her kid gift certificates for their birthdays (her kids birthday is Saturday) to go thrifting together - their favorite activity together! Then, she went home to have dinner and hang with her man and his mom - then the Aurora Borealis decided to come wish her a Happy Birthday, too!!

All wonderful omens for a fantastic year ahead, I'll take it!!

Cheers to a happy, healthy and wonderful year ahead, filled with all the laughter you can handle, so many concerts that you can't count them, fun filled memories with your friends and family - and a vacation?! (Thought I'd throw it out there 🤣)!

I love you so much, and I'm beyond grateful for how much you love us. Cheers to MANY, many more years!!

Did anyone else see the Aurora Borealis?!! 🤯🤯🤯

My husband and I saw them VERY faint in New Hampshire two nights ago... but tonight, I walked outside and these smacked me in my face!
..if you've ever met me, you know I'm so extra and lost my damn mind!! I'm so excited to of seen them again... but this time it was even cooler!!! Way cooler!!!

I may be biased, but what a spectacular way to throw a rehearsal dinner...amiright?!!

Gathering together with people who don't all know each other is literally one of the most awkward things ever - some people are shy, some are outgoing, you're dealing with all ages.. how do you mix them up, and make sure everyone has a blast?!

Paint party!! There were lots of laughs, music, serenading the bride, concentration, drinks, groans from the type A people when I wouldn't let them clean their brushes 😂😂😂... once they were done, we took a photo of everyone, then they all enjoyed the awesome pizza, pool and darts - then they all get to bring home a souvenir from wedding weekend in Newport - and it's easy to travel with!!

GENIUS!!!
