Created in 2012 out of a fraternity basement, BSMG initially started as a couple of friends booking showcases for local musicians. The goal was simple...to provide opportunties to undiscovered artists to perform in front of a crowd. As the company began to grow, forming branches in media, production, booking, and promotion...the opportunties continued to grow as well. Winners of Philadelphia's "To
p Live Show & Series" award in 2013, BSMG was booking the top local talent at Philadelphia's hottest venues. The goal was now to not only provide opportunities for these local musicians, but it was to discover these talents and provide a platform for them to reach bigger and better things. Come 2014, BSMG hosted over 130 shows, spotlighting 1,200+ plus musicians, at 20 Philadelphia venues. They watched some of the most raw, talented, and hard working musicians take the stage, night after night. From all of this experience, the BSMG team realized a very serious problem in the Philadelphia music community. There was so much damn talent in this city, yet so little direction and structure. It was almost a paradox to observe. Realizing this problem, and having such a passion for the music scene in the Philadelphia area, the team of BSMG decided to do something about it. Which leads us to this current day (August 2014). We are currently in the rebranding phase to provide the direction & strucutre needed for these top, hardworking musicians. All we can say as of now is...be prepared for reconstruction.
