This cake was for such a special occasion and huge event, a company celebrating 50 years in a thriving business. literally seconds before cake drop off there was a mishap, such an unfortunate moment, and the tanker ended up sideways on the cake. I’m not sure who was devastated more, me, or David, my husband the deliverer, (been delivering them for 10 years). Or MOST IMPORTANTLY, the customer who so strategically designed their wishes and wants for this cake. Elizabeth and I must’ve had 20 conversations during the planning , such a big deal for her and everyone else. we knew we had to fix things the best we could. There just was not enough time (venue was an hour from us)to make it perfect again. Tho highly upset, the company was understanding, and accepted a not so perfect replica of their truck. Indian River Transport, I want to thank you for being so kind and forgiving through this, it speaks volumes, most of all congratulations to you on 50 years of success!
