Putting out feelers to see when people want to protest in Presque Isle. Would prefer to do it after the 4th but if people want to do it before I'm sure we can figure that out as well.

I think a good key point for us to focus on (in general but particularly for protesting on the 4th) is the ninth ammendment which is as follows:

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

So if one person has a right we ALL have that right. Either we all have body autonomy of we do not. No one can tell you what you can or can not do with your body. You can not take an organ from a co**se without permission to save a life so you can NOT hold hostage a uterus to save a life either. We are perfectly capable of living with one kidney and there are many who will die without one of those kidneys.. but no one can just take your kidney..

Is this country free if half of us have less bodily autonomy then a co**se?

I put this information as an edit in the last post but wanted to make sure it got seen so making its own post as well..

Houltons chamber of commerce got ahold of me and said we couldn't march with the dems because they don't allow anything political.. 🤔🤬 ... but I was told we could and I certainly will be protesting neear the parade because as long as we're peaceful and not interfering with the parade they really can't stop us.. also still planning on joining the dems with our signs in Fort Fairfields potatoe Blossom parade

Definetly marching with our protest signs with Aroostook Maine Democrat's at both the fourth of July parade in Houlton and the Potatoe Blossom parade in Fort Fairfield.

If anyone wants to do a protest before between and/or after let's make plans! Would like to have one in Presque Isle asap!
