So about Saturday night.......what an amazing time we had at the first of many Downtown Date Night Experience! We had phenomenal food prepared by Chef Malik Williams, wonderful and outstanding live music performed by NiiTO and everyone in the room laughed the entire time with Ms. Shirleen! This week, we are excited to welcome back Roanoke Cooperative for their Youth STEAM Summit. This free event focuses on STEM subjects for rising 9th to 12th graders. The Summit features exhibits, presentations and interactive sessions to stimulate career choices in science, technology, engineering, agriculture and math. The one-day program is organized by the nonprofit Sustainable Forestry and Land Retention Project that Roanoke Cooperative sponsors. This interactive day consist of learning and networking for students, their parents and educators.
