The festival is a one-day FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT, featuring live music and dance, food, art, vendors, and activities for all ages. The music featured will include: Cumbia, Latin Funk/Afrobeat, Oldies, Ranchera, Merengue, Bachata, Mariachi, Reggae, Rock en Español and Salsa.

Each year approximately 15-20 altars are made inside the Sherman Heights Community Center to celebrate the Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead. Many schools in San Diego bring students to be educated in this beautiful tradition in our community. Video by: Pita Ruiz
