The award took a new turn and we had to split the awards into five categories to honor the diverse talents within our community. Each winner will take home **100,000 frs CFA** as recognition for their exceptional contributions.

Nyonga Music Festival Best Artist Award Announcement

Dear Artists and Supporters,

Warm greetings from the Nyonga Music Festival team! We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to extend our sincere apologies for the delay in addressing the current situation regarding the Best Artist Award. As of now, the award has not yet been awarded.

Upon careful review of the online voting, it has become clear that relying solely on online votes is insufficient to determine the winner. Therefore, additional criteria have been established to fairly select the recipients of the award. In light of this, we are excited to announce a new direction for the awards.

Changes to the Award Structure

To encourage artists to produce more music and engage in their craft, the panel responsible for selecting the winners has decided to implement the following changes for the Nyonga Music Festival Award Show 2025:

- *Award Categories*: The award will now be divided into five categories, reflecting the achievements of artists from the year 2010 onwards:
- Best Urban Artist
- Best Upcoming Female Artist
- Best Traditional Artist
- Artist with Best Videos
- Best Upcoming Male Artist

The winners for these categories have been determined through extensive deliberation and will be announced shortly.

We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused and promise to enhance the award experience in future editions. Thank you for your trust and continued support.
