Next weekend is the 2024 Turf GP and we are happy to announce the highly requested L.A. Smashburgers will be back on Sunday Sept. 8th.
They will be here from 11:30-3pm
They have been here a couple times this summer and they are by far our most requested and most popular food truck.

You won’t want to miss them!

Bring the family out to watch and have an amazing burger for lunch.

Next weekend is the long awaited 2024 Turf GP and we are so excited to have Delish Modern Catering here on Saturday the 7th with the highly requested BBQ buffet. They will be here 11:30-3pm

They were here couple weeks ago for the WildeEvents WERC series and everyone loved them.

You will want to come hungry because they are amazing!

Join the racing or just come to watch and have lunch.
Spectators are welcome and free!

This weekend is a perfect time to come check out DieHard Family RC Park.
Bring your family for the day or camp out and enjoy all the RC things. We are also dog friendly.

No need to be a member!

$30 - full park adult/$15 for 10 and under
$15 - Scale park only option
$30 a night to camp (dry camping only)
We have porta potties available.

What is included in full park access:
- 1/8th & 1/10th scale Dirt Off- Road
- 1/10 scale Turf Track
-1/8th & 1/10th scale Clay Oval Track
- 1/4 mile 1/10th scale Drag strip
- 1/4 mile 1/10th scale Sand Drag strip
- 1/16 & 1/24th scale mini carpet track
- 1/6th - 1/10th Monster Truck area
- 1/24th scale crawler area
- Large Crawler course with natural features built into trees and scale elements and house for plenty of photo ops.
-Drone flight area - must be AMA member

$15 - scale park only option available!

Yesterday was Dirt Race #6 at DieHard Family RC Park.
What an amazing day of racing we had with epic battles and lots of fun.
Thank you to everyone that showed up and helped us to honor our Dirt Crew with a hot dog feed.

3:30 Wednesday 8/28 track condition update.

Turf Track is dry and open

Dirt Track Open ( some standing water outside of the race lanes)

Oval closed but should be open on Thursday.

8/27 Track condition and park update at 11:30am

Turf track open but very wet.
(Turf Tuesday cancelled due to more forecasted rain this afternoon)

Dirt track Closed. Swept and drained but reamains very wet.

Good new is I spent Monday repairing some deep potholes on the gravel road that had gotten increasingly worse from all the rains we have had.

Please help me by driving slow when coming and going to help keep the gravel in the potholes that I have just added.
With the continued rains after the repairs the condition of the road is still pretty wet.

Turf GP is being Rescheduled due to weather to Sept. 6th-8th!

Diehard RC has made the very hard decision to move the Turf Grand Prix to
September 6th-8th.

We know our racers have busy lives and this will not work for everyone but with the forecast being solid rain and overcast skies it will not produce the conditions we want for our racers to compete at their highest potential.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this decision may cause.

Please know these decisions do not come easy and we make this decision today to allow adjustments for preplanned accommodations.

If the weather changes this weekend to sunny and 70 degrees we may just cry but at this point on Wednesday 8/21 it’s looking bleak.

Race format will remain the same we have advertised for the GP however, since this is being moved to an already scheduled points race we will include points for this event that go toward for the overall season points series.

Wow!
This weekend on the Off-road dirt track was amazing. Over 200+ entries for the Wilde Werc Series Race #3. We saw great battles and crazy weather! Overall it was a great weekend full of fun, friends and racing.

We loved to see all the families at the park supporting each other and the kids running around and having fun.

We had great food all weekend with taco’s & more on Saturday and The She’s got bowls for truck on Sunday. They were both amazing!

We had a hot air balloon land in the park.
We had JWA - Jeepers With Attitude in the park as part of the Sasquatch hunt on Saturday and it was so great to see the expressions on peoples face when they saw the park for the first time. 🥰

Overall it was an amazing weekend thanks to WildeEvents and The amazing DieHard Dirt Crew
who kept the racing happening even after a huge storm that dumped 2 inches of rain on the track overnight. Watching them work to save the day was amazing. Truly Diehard!

This community always surprised us and we couldn’t be more grateful!
Changing a track layout is a big job and we always worry if we will get everything done in time. Tear down began on Friday with a few people doing the work. There was some 16 hour days where 2-3 people would show up off and on throughout the day. Yesterday we were worried if it could get done in time. Then lots of people started showing up and we all made it happen.

It was amazing to see all the dedication and determination that this crew has. The track turned out great and will be so much fun to race on.
Big thanks to Ray Shell and Matthew Miller for designing a killer track.
Thanks to everyone that showed up to help!

We are so excited for the Wilde WERC Series race #3 this weekend.
Lots of fun stuff planned and this weekend is always well attended.
We will have a booth to sell Italian Soda’s & Energy drinks!
We will also have a bake sale to raise money for the DieHard Girls Program.

This weekend We will have 2 different food trucks so bring your appetite. They will be at the park from appx. 12-4 each day.

Saturday - Taco’s & More - This truck has been super popular!
Sunday - She's Got Bowls Food Truck - This is a very popular food truck I. our local area and we are so excited to have them join us for this event.

It was a good day at DieHard RC racing around the high bank oval.
Small turnout but big smiles all around!
We played with a new format for our sprint car classes. (More to come later on this). 👍 from racers and look forward to doing this again.
Cloud cover skies made for some great conditions and perfect temperatures.

2024 Summer Turf Series Points series points update with 4 races ran.
Race 3 was rained out and we are still trying to find a spot on the schedule for it.
2 Throw outs have not been added into update.
