SIX in the City 🚕🗽- 🎂 Everyone should be so lucky to have a friend like her. She is the type of friend I can call anytime of the day or night and she will be there. Her heart is so big I’m convinced there’s just not enough room in her body for it. She goes above and beyond to make every cake pure perfection, from the way it looks to the way it tastes.

This little 6-year-old doesn’t know her as Elise’s Pieces but as Aunt Elise and always asks for Aunt Elise’s yummy cake for her birthday. Without hesitation, Aunt Elise creates the most perfect cake that literally makes me tear up every year.

This year, of course, Elise wouldn’t let us go to NYC without an Aunt Elise cake. So she found a way to make sure she had her Aunt Elise cake. Which ended up being the most nerve-wracking experience of my life, traveling with this cake to NYC. Somehow, someway, sweating like a mad woman, it survived and made it.

Elise, thank you for all you do for us... thank you for making her so happy and special, thank you for being one of the best friends I could ask for. We truly are so grateful to have you in our lives. I don’t think I can ever truly express how much you mean to our family. ❤️
