The Flow Hub is the residential home of Duncan Greenwood, and two cats named Helix and Double (AKA - M. Duncan occupies one of the rooms, and tents to hang around a lot in the evenings and weekends. It is a space that is being co-created with the intention to be a centre of fire dancing, flow, and as much of the arts as we can get our hands on, in Cape Town, South Africa. We intent to draw some of
the most interesting artists - local and international - to a location specifically designed for them to display their talents and learn together. To grow the community. The Fire Garden is being iteratively constructed to be a venue for hosting fire jams and workshops on various art forms:
--- poi, staff, hoop, juggling, flower sticks, yoga, acro-yoga, parkour, tai chi and martial arts, build-your-own-prop-workshops, etc. More will be possible with upgrades as time goes by. The living room can be used for small indoor workshops. One of the rooms is the center of operations of Flow DNA - a corporate entity created for the development of flow arts technology in South Africa. There is also a lot of stuff in the garage that is stored for community projects. If you have any ideas of ways we can improve this space, we'd love for you to be involved :)
