Have you ever thought about making a delicious seafood BBQ, but gave up in the middle of the way because thought it was a task for only big chefs? 🦐🦑👨‍🍳

Well, to show you that seafood barbecue isn’t as hard as you think, today we brought 4 tips that will certainly change your mind. Check-out!! 🤯

✅ The first tip is about seasoning the food using simple stuff, marinating them with only lemon, salt, and pepper. Trust me, it gets awesome! 🧂

✅ The other tip is to grill them using only medium fire. Always remember that squid 🦑 and prawns 🦐 will need around 5min for each side, while fish reserve will spend about 10min.

✅ Taking aside a special sauce for dipping to share i.e. creamy honey mustard or a tartar sauce 🍵 is also a good idea! It completely changes the experience with seafood BBQ. 🔥

Well, Farofa is kind of a big deal not only for us but also for every Brazilian heart! 🇧🇷❤️

In short, it’s a traditional Brazilian side dish made with toasted cassava flour, or how we call it in Portuguese “Farinha de mandioca”. 😋

We can prepare it in all sorts of different ways; with butter and bacon, or a deliciously vegan one made with ghee butter and veggies. 🥓

I bet you’re wondering what farofa tastes like, aren’t u? 😆 Overall, I think it’s fair to say that farofa has a “crunchy” texture and a very mild taste. Getting even better when the cassava flour soaks up the flavors of the stuff you cook it with, like the bacon, butter, garlic and etc. 😋

Believe me, a Brazilian barbecue 🥩 is not the same without some "Farofinha" (a little farofa) sprinkled on top! Hahaha 😆

Have you ever wondered how does Brazilian barbecue had started? 🇧🇷

Well, the beginning of Brazilian barbecue has its origins1700s during Brazil’s colonization by European settlers. But the subsequent rise in popularity of the churrasco technique is actually credited to gaúchos in the cattle ranching lands of the Rio Grande do Sul in the 1800s, which after long days of herding cattle, they would gather their communities to enjoy a large meal of barbecue meats. 👨‍🌾

In the traditional method for preparing churrasco, gaúchos would dig large pits in the ground and begin a fire. They would then wait for the wood to turn to embers to skewer the meat. 🔥🍖

After then, this unique form of Brazilian barbecue has turned into an identity and way of life that is deeply ingrained in the nation’s cultural identity. 🥩

🥩 Cupim (beef hump) is a rich, marbled, soft and tasty beef cut unique to the zebu cattle, which has evolved its hump to aid its survivability in hot and dry climates. Cupim has no blood and juice, and is found almost exclusively in Brazilian cuisine. 😋🇧🇷
