This is why I love orchids. These are on my moms counter. When I took this pic, they were on at the end of week three. Today, the end of week 4, Mom says they are starting to turn a bit yellow.
When people tell me orchids are delicate, I smirk🤔
Of course, there are 1000+ varieties and not all last the same….but this variety of green cymbidium never disappoints.

9 Years Ago today, I signed a lease for the rebel petal space in Manotick. I took a little trip down memory lane on instagram last night and pulled out a few photos that fill me with pride, gratitude and life lessons. I am beyond grateful for the support you have shown my small business. In 2015 when we opened, I was just praying someone would show up. We had an overwhelming opening weekend that left us spinning with the love we received. Thank you💗 My business has had an order every single day we have been open. Something I am very proud of even when there was only one sale and it was $35💗 The opportunities we have been apart of has been mind blowing. In 2020, we burned the old business plan and wrote a new one redefining how a flowershop can operate. Our online/telephone model has given us a better, more efficient, more productive, less stressful work day. The day to day operations of a small business are not for the faint of heart. I regularly feel like Im swimming against the current. But when I look back on these past 9 years, all I see is the love I have for my career, my business, my team, my man and above all of that, You💗our awesome allies, supporters and clients who we are grateful for every single day💗💗💗
