The Mangotsfield Festival Committee would like to thank all who attended the festival on the 8th of June. We think it went really well, we hope you feel the same?
BUT and it's a big BUT
If the local community do not get more involved in helping set up, run and clear down the event and provide more help in raising the money it costs to put it on then it's future doesn't look very rosy!
We have our AGM on Tuesday 9th July, please support your local festival.

Don't forget that the lovely Bristol DAWG ( Dog Action Welfare Group ) are bringing the dog show back this year, back after missing last year due to the weather - too hot!
All shapes and sizes welcome.

We've had to tweak the running order, Kris Nock Big Band are now on at lunchtime. Here's the final, final one!
Also a reminder that we are in Johnson Road Playing Field not Pomphrey Hill Playing Field as per the photo.

Traffic and Parking is always a challenge so huge thanks to Mangotsfield United FC and Cleve RFC for helping us out, it really is appreciated.
Please note there is no public parking on site and we really do need to keep the surrounding roads clear for residents, buses and emergency services.

CANCELLED - DOG SHOW AT THE MANGOTSFIELD FESTIVAL

Due to the extreme heat tomorrow the decision has been made for animal welfare reasons to cancel the Dog Show at the above event.

The Festival will still be going ahead as planned.

Sorry for any disappointment caused, but the advice from the RSPCA is not to take your dog out in this extreme heat and with temperatures reaching 24-26 degrees it would be far too hot for both dogs and owners.

Sorry to let the Mangotsfield Festival down at this late stage, but sure all dog lovers will understand.

Please still support this event as there will still be plenty to see and do.

Due to the hot weather our dog show has been cancelled. It's a great shame as it's an integral part of the festival but it's absolutely the right decision. There is still lots to do and a full programme so hope to see you.
So as well as our oft stated "PLEASE LEAVE YOUR CAR AT HOME" we must add "PLEASE LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME"

Slight tweak to parking. Mangotsfield United FC parking is in field next to the football ground not the football ground itself. Cleve Rugby Club is also available.
To stress again we want people to leave the car at home.

Just in case there is any confusion or puzzlement re the location. We are not in the part of Pomphrey Hill with the big pavillion, we are across the road off Johnson Road. There will be signs.
