Hi guys, 1 whole year today I handed over Old Hall Cafe Keys .
Where did this year go!! Very quick year in my new job.
Fair to say I do miss the cafe customers and just wanted to say a big Thank you to all those customers that still support me at Scotby school kitchen .
Take away Sunday lunches fill up very quickly when we do them .. and our outside catering is busy too.
Proud to of served our great community for 17 years.
Looking back at old posts from Old Hall Cafe. Fair to say we smashed it.

Hi guys, Schools out for summer!! What a week, what an amazing first full year at Scotby School.
Massive Thank you to all at Scotby School.
My first year as Catering Manager couldn’t have went any better.
Our last day of term and we broke the Scotby record for hot dinners .. not only doing cakes for Yr 6 leavers assembly .. we catered for 193 pupils out of 235.Scotby School!! See you in September to start it all over again.

Hi guys, lots of excited Scotby pupils today,with 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England reaching the Euro 2024 Final on Sunday.Pupils all came into school wearing England football shirts.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Today’s dessert went down a treat all very complimentary when seeing what was on offer .🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Big Thank you to Scotby PTA .
Lovely gesture of boxed cider.it’s been a pleasure to work along side you all when raising money for Scotby School .
Cider will get opened on Sunday watching the match.

Hi guys , just some of the schools dinners at Scotby school from these last couple of weeks .. lots of happy pupils at Scotby .. I’m even getting pupils asking if I can give them cabbage 🥬. Yes of course .. it will go well with the Pie 🥧 tomorrow.
Thinking of doing Sunday lunches this Sunday .. menu will follow later today or tomorrow.

Hi guys, well yesterday after school , we had the honour of hosting Scotby school first ever year 6 leavers meal.
28 pupils attended and what a privilege it has been in my first year at Scotby school employed has Catering manager to feed these pupils.
Every single day, so polite and after having eaten dinner .. coming up to the hatch to Thank us in the kitchen and saying how much they enjoyed eating our food we made and served them.
Scotby year 6 pupils 2024👏👏👏Thank you for your support and making it an absolute pleasure to work at Scotby school.
It’s nearly a year since I started this new job and it couldn’t have went any better.
Year 6 we will miss you all.

Hi guys, just a few pics from today’s buffet.Cumberland Sausage from Pioneer always goes down well on our buffets .i didn’t get to take any pics of the buffet laid out but I’m sure these pics gives you an idea of our savoury buffet £7.00 per head .

Hi guys, we welcomed back Scotby pupils today with Meatballs in gravy, Pork and tomato sausage (from pioneer), mashed potatoes,Yorkshire puddings and gravy.
Sticky ginger bread with custard , cookies , watermelon, grapes and yogurts.
I do have to say we have had very little waste when checking afterwards and the amount of kids now coming to the serving hatch showing us clean plates and thanking us for our food speaks volumes .

Hi guys, lots of very happy kids at dinner time today, all very polite and egg sited that it was chicken pie for dinner before schools close for the Easter holidays .. I must admit
I’m getting use to these hols.
Being self employed for 17 years with having old hall cafe .. now being employed by Scotby CofE School and able to do my outside catering ain’t too bad at all.
2 weeks off work , now time to chill .

Hi guys, I’ve not done a post for a while .. so today .. Scotby had the famous chicken pie 🥧 roast potatoes 🥔 peas and sweetcorn with gravy .. great feedback from very polite pupils and staff and lots of clean empty trays and plates .. this week the pupils have had chicken korma , pasta dishes , sausage rolls , jacket potatoes, filled rolls .. lots of roasts, mashed potatoes and tomorrow is very popular chip day .. Sunday 21st January I will be doing Takeaway Sunday Lunch .. menu will follow next week .. collection will be at Scotby school kitchen door (just like last time ) .

Hi guys, I think I can safely say I’ve settled in my new job at Scotby school as Catering Manager.
The feedback I’ve been getting since starting my post in September has been pretty much amazing .
To be told after just 1 week how much the food and kitchen is transformed speaks volumes.
The staff and pupils have been so welcoming.
THANK YOU Scotby School .

Hi guys, well that’s me officially finished until New year..,this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we have been cooking hot meals for SPORTWORKS based at greystone community centre.feeding the kids attending the group.. finish on a nice Christmas dinner today for them today.
