This week I was honoured to do the flowers at my very first wedding. Beautiful big red roses and burnt orange chrysanthemums in petite hand ties for the two lovely brides.

What a busy day Adam and I have had. We painted inside and outside of my lovely new flower workshop shed. I can't wait to get using this once it has been kitted out with all the bits and bobs I'll need to get flowering. Thanks to Richie (who also did my lovely logo) for the help getting this built on Thursday - left to us it would have been upside down and back to front!

Orders for this weekend have started coming in and I would like to thank every single person following my wee flower venture and giving me support. There are plans afoot for July when I will hopefully have my workshop set up and I can start expanding my hours and my offerings.

This weekend, however, I've still got plenty of availability for a sweet posy in a jar or a coffee table bouquet at £15/£25 or for something a bit more fancy if you fancy. 💐

Delivery on Sunday is free for East Kilbride, Eaglesham and East Renfrewshire. Flowers will be a beautiful seasonal pick - guaranteed to be gorgeous.

A very satisfying weekend. Posys and coffee table bouquets sold out, and delivered. The peachy pink colours are perfect. Time to get the feet up and enjoy the afternoon sunshine 🌞

I'm going to have to work out a more robust delivery system, although this did work surprisingly well. I'm dreaming of a wee green van, it's something to aim for, anyway. Small business problems 🌸

This weekend I had four of these sweet coffee table sized hand tie bouquets to deliver. I chose yellow roses, pink lisianthus, lavender matthias and beautiful cream and pink carnations as the stars of the show, with pretty pink spray roses and white phlox to compliment.

Thank you for popping in to Greendrop Flowers. My name is Gilly and I am a recent graduate of Flower School Glasgow. Like many people my working life has been turned upside down this past year, and also like many people I've had some time to pause and think about the future. As a lifelong lover of flowers with a serious need to be creative, what better industry to try my hand at? I spent a week at Flower School having great fun, getting plenty of hands on experience as well as helpful tips on how to build my own Flower empire. I am so excited to be starting this new wee venture and hope to bring some lovely flowers to you a couple of weekends each month while I build up my knowledge and confidence with flowers.
