We are delighted to announce that Bampax Ball 2021 has raised a WHOPPING total of £58,000 for Charity!

Both charities, Adoption UK and The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust will receive an equal split of £29,000 each to help them carry out their vital work in supporting young people and families.

Thank you again to everyone who supported the ball in any way - we are astounded by the generosity and goodness of you all.

We hope to see you all next year!

What a fantastic evening at Bampax Charity Ball on Saturday. Fallen Leaf are proud to have been able to support and contribute to this fantastic event that has so far, raised over £52,000 for charity.

This Saturday the 6th November 2021, sees Huddersfield’s finest kick off the PARTY season for the first BAMPAX CHARITY BALL, hosted by Dan Bamforth of Towndoor & Richard Paxman of Paxman Scalp Cooling at Meltham Mills, Holmfirth in aid of Adoption UK and The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.

The couple who recently adopted a 4 year old boy, and actively support a number of charities were keen to put on a show-stopping event (anything but basic, run of the mill and boring in their own words!) to raise much needed awareness & funds for the two charities and ensure all attendees had a night to remember after what has been a tough few years for all.

Dan & Rich are well known for their contribution to the local business community and for their no expense spared parties. Their aim is to raise a minimum £60k via their connections on the night.

Bampax Ball started life earlier in the year with a 200 guest target, quickly selling out within weeks. The capacity was increased to 300, immediately selling out once more before being increased and capped at 450. The organisers and events team have been blown away with the demand and are hugely appreciative of the many businesses that came forward donating auction and raffle prizes, some worth thousands, not to mention the 25 strong companies that have sponsored the event alongside the main funders Towndoor and Paxman.

To the many people who were unsuccessful in acquiring tickets for 2021, better luck next time - please keep an eye on our social media accounts for future events.

Highlights of this year’s ball feature a jaw dropping firework display by award winning Optimum Fireworks and live PA by 90’s sensation
Livin' Joy ft. Luzahnn whose hits include ‘Dreamer’ arranged by international talent agency MN2S.

What COVID safety measures will be in place throughout the evening?

To promote a safe and enjoyable experience, we will be asking all attendees and crew to show their COVID status upon entry to the site.

You MUST show either;

Proof of a minimum double Covid vaccination via the NHS app or proof of a negative lateral flow test taken and logged within the last 24 hours.

For your peace of mind all guests will be encouraged to sanitise their hands upon entry to the site, there will also be enhanced cleaning throughout the evening alongside a toilet attendant who will ensure the WCs are cleaned regularly. Masks are not a mandatory requirement at the Bampax Ball.

Please note: both paper and digital proof of vaccination will be accepted.

What are the event timings?

The ball will commence at 7pm and carriages will be at midnight so please ensure you have a taxi booked in advance. An itinerary for the evening is enclosed with your wristbands.
