This is our mission statement as a group we were formed with these goals in mind:
To promote good practice, to suppress malpractice, to eliminate the use of banned substances, to suppress cruelty, to support law and order, to assist, help and develop a professional level of stewarding, to ensure that there is respect for officials and participants, to assist and work with the governing body, to not usurp the authority of the governing body, to help promote the sport, to facilitate and encourage social meetings and events (when allowed under the current circumstances), to work alongside similar clubs, associations and governing bodies within both harness racing and thoroughbred racing both in uk and abroad, to help work towards a situation where EVERY horse has the chance to race and win, to encourage both amateur and saddle races, to encourage excellence from diversity.

WELCOME TO HEART OF ENGLAND HARNESS RACING CLUB

HEHRC is a group formed to support and promote the sport of harness racing. And we strive to do this in a friendly and welcoming way. We are a family orientated group with a passion to promote a feel-good, respectful environment for club members to voice their opinions. We are a group of like-minded individuals where everyone gets their say, from the one-man band to the professional, and everyone is classed as an equal.
