You wonderful humans have nearly completely cleared me out of stock, so the big restock has begun. Starting with Mustard Muslin, she’s super soft and the perfect colour to ease you from winter to spring (and back again judging by this weather)

The sunshine has woken me from my winter stupor, I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been lacking some serious get up and go.

This beautiful Spring image of the gorgeous reminded me why I started making headbands in the first place, to add a bit of colour and fun.

I am sorry my website is hopelessly lacking in stock, but I have sewing plans and will be restocking some of your favourites over the coming weeks, including this Peony print.

Does anything say I love you more than upcycled hair accessories? Well yes maybe some things do but these come pretty close. Flowers and chocolates are great but they don’t last, so if you’re treating a friend or a partner this Valentine’s Day why not get them something they can keep forever?

Hello Insta friends 👋 long time no see. I’ve had a slightly longer than anticipated break from Instagram and I’m not going to lie, it’s been great.

Life just seems to be speeding up and a crazy pace, is this how things were before Covid? 😂 and have made me feel better by sharing their chaos, it’s nice to I’m not alone.

I will soon dust off the sewing machine and start creating again, so let me know what you would like to see from Winged Hare, I’ll put a COMMENT BOX ON MY STORIES. In the meantime there are still lots of goodies on the website, like this versatile spotty number (snowdrop not included 😉)

Happy New Year hairband lovers! Why does Christmas always wizz by so fast?

Samba dog, CEO of Winged Hare, and myself have well and truly recharged our batteries and we are ready and rearing to bring you lots of new and exciting things over the next year.

While we are currently living in renovation chaos it’s always a bit stop start but this year should see WH get it’s own space in the house- just watch this space.

I hope you have also managed to get some R and R and are feeling ready for the challenges that January brings. I cannot thank you all enough for your support throughout 2021!!

Once a remnant, now a beautiful silk headband. I have just one teal, one azure blue and two gold of these beauties. I will be releasing them THIS SUNDAY evening along with a restock of 🐆 leopard print headbands.

So I know it’s not hair band related but I had so much fun making my own wreath I wanted to share it. Doing creative things makes me happy and getting together with friends yesterday to each make a wreath was the best!

Everything in the wreath has been foraged, even the Guinea Fowl feathers which are from my cousins in South Africa. The base is hay this year recommended by and it worked so well!

It’s absolutely massive as inspired by who makes the most beautiful wreaths known to man kind.

Beautiful Fran in the brand new Amanda headband. A lovely lady I work with gave me this Laura Ashley remnant so this headband is named after her.

Using remnants and repurposing fabrics is just the best feeling, making something new from a waste material and giving it a whole new cycle of life.

This headband will be available THIS SUNDAY at 6pm, don’t forget to set your timers, as always there are only a few available in this drop.

One of last years favourites will also be returning this Sunday evening at 6pm.

The tartan is such a bright and bold classic, just right for this chilly time of year.

😍 The return of a favourite 😍

I found a little bit more of this gorgeous fabric and there are JUST 3 available! It is a wonderful thick cotton so a nice chunky knot. Style it like Georgia here with hair up for everyday or wear it out for dinner with jeans and boots and hair down.

Hope you lovely lot are dealing with the early darkness ok, today was a beautiful sunny day so it felt ok but a bit of a shock scraping the car this morning!

🎃 The Pumpkin Patch Kid 🎃

I’ve always been very envious of the Instagram crew who nail the decorative pumpkin styling so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon.

These amazing pumpkins were picked by my very own hands at which is a brand new patch opening TOMORROW in Garboldisham, Norfolk. So any locals get on over there, there is even pizza, coffee and the most amazing sweet treats by I wish I was heading up for the grand opening.
