“HOT TOWN” is an all-day hot music showcase featuring a wide variety of folx from our local Austin/Central Texas community. Expect music from , , , , and more!

Save the date for May 25th - from about noon-10pm at the historic Doris Miller Auditorium - for a rompin’, stompytonkin’ time, and keep your eyes and ears peeled for the full lineup and schedule coming very soon!

The race starts at 7am. Half Marathon course closes at 11:30am. Full marathon course closes at 2pm.

There's nothing like a whole lineup of finalists swinging out in an all skate and our Triple Threat competition never fails to impress as all the dancers transition in and out of Lindy, Bal, and Shag! Did you love this Fast XVI performance from last year as much as we did? Under the direction of Jenn Lee, this performance came together to celebrate the artistic voices from our wonderfully ethnically diverse community. Some people just love to do it all, and while this can definitely said about Julie Roman, she is especially passionate about Collegiate Shag and we are thrilled to announce her as an instructor for this year! Watch her in this killer spotlight at Camp Hollywood and get excited to take her classes at Hot Rhythm Holiday 2024 in just a couple months!

These passionate scene leaders aren't just phenomenal dancers, they are ready to help you become one too, combining Shag's rich history with your own unique expression. Welcome back Amanda Pincock and Zach Lockett-Streiff to our instructor lineup!

Shannon Butler, a third-generation jitterbug, grew up with a passion for teaching and performing that makes every dance such a joy to watch. She carries that same joy into her classes and we're so excited to announce her as a Hot Rhythm Holiday 2024 instructor!
