I love this woman, the symbol of bravery, commitment, and patriotism: Maria Corina Machado. Thank God Venezuela has her, and now she'll be represented in the elections by Dr. Corina Yoris. Regardless of what happens on July 28th this year, Maria Corina Machado and Corina Yoris have won the hearts of the people of Venezuela, and that part of the world that still believes in democracy.

Venezuelans and those in solidarity with them will be at this event to inform those attending how they feel about Kovalik's support for the Bolivarian Revolution, August 14 starting at 7:00 pm at the Hillside Club, 2286 Cedar Street in Berkeley. We'll be there to pass out information, make friends, be available to answer questions, and engage in friendly dialogue with all the North Americans who thought the Bolivarian Revolution was a smashing success and perhaps now are having doubts. We'll also be energetically expressing our opposition to KPFA "Community Radio" sponsoring an event designed to give credibility to a government considered by much of the civilized international community to be narco-mafia neo-dictatorship. But we'll do all this in the friendliest manner possible. We hope to bring some people over to our side.
