The Dole had the honor of hosting The 100 club of Illinois’ Valor Awards on Thursday evening. These awards are given to First Responders who’ve been nominated for going above and beyond in the line of duty to save a life. The evening was incredibly moving as their heroics were shared. Our guests this week, The Countryside Garden Club of Crystal Lake, were celebrating their 75th Anniversary with a lovely brunch and presentation by Leslie Goddard.
Leslie takes us back to 1963 as Marine Biologist, Rachel Carson, and author of Silent Spring. She had the room captivated as she brought history to life!
Green Gate Garden Club of Crystal Lake was also invited by Countryside Garden Club to attend this brilliant performance and celebration!
Congratulations to the Countryside Garden Club of Crystal Lake on beautifying our fabulous city for 75 years!
We look forward to working together more in the near future!
