There’s been a gap in our posts lately, and while I was prepared to apologize for the lack of updates, had to remind myself that I’m human. ⁣⁣

I’ve been working on Social Tykes for many years. We were all squared away to open this summer, and this pandemic came and flipped everyone’s worlds upside down. ⁣
⁣
Such a heartbreaking time in the world right now, for so many reasons. 💔⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There is still a lot of unknown. Prices of work have increased, the needs to social distance, lack of vaccine, Kawasaki disease relation, etc. 🧪⁣⁣

I’m utilizing this delay to raise more funding, and perfect our space for you and your little ones. ⁣⁣

We are currently battling the thoughts of postponing our opening date until 2021 due to the safety of you all, and the children. ⁣
⁣
Our space is curated for building relationships, kids interacting with one another, etc. We know that right now our community is dealing with a great deal of stress, loss, and tons of unknown. ⁣
