We would like to thank The Auxiliary to VFW 2760 for being a Gold Sponsor for our 2024 gala. The VFW 2760 is comprised of members who are related to Veterans of Foreign Wars. They raise money to meet the needs of veterans in the community they serve.They also donate to community organizations helping the homeless, food banks, and more. They are located at 233 North 3rd Street, Gadsden, Al 35901. We deeply appreciate the sponsorship. This event will be a night to remember as we celebrate the life of SGT Houston Lee Tumlin, also known as Walker Bobby from Talladega Nights! We are raising money to help veterans with every day needs and also to give two scholarships to graduating ROTC from Pell City High School! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Dovetail Landing and Alabama Veteran are excited to partner with Auburn University's Building Science Program to engage students in service to our veterans. Spring Semester, 10 students will be working alongside our program management partner, Third Lens, to construct the framing and roof package of a tiny home. Students in the Service Learning class will work each week to construct the wall sections, and at the end of the semester, they will erect the building on the Dovetail Landing campus.

It's shoot and sing Wednesday! Shoot in pool tournament, if you are good enough, and sing on stage no matter how good you are!
Starting next Wednesday, if you would rather sing your own song while picking a guitar or playing your own instrument, you can do that. Just sign up in karaoke rotation, and on your turn do your thing! It'll be your 5 min of fame to do what you want! Just plug and play! Come on out and enjoy either way! Always a good time at The Post!
