The CAPITAL CITY FILM FESTIVAL (CCFF) celebrates artists from around the world by curating outstanding multimedia experiences for the community. The annual festival showcases an eclectic mix of independent films, live music, interactive media, and more in Michigan’s capital city.

The 2024 Capital City Film Festival was a party!
We were thrilled to have as an A-List sponsor this year! CATA and CCFF share in our commitment of bringing accessibility to our community and uplifting voices of marginalized populations. Thanks to their support, we were able to bring film, art, and music from all over the world to Mid-Michigan.

Arts Midwest is building creative community and opportunities across our region and is currently accepting applications for the Midwest Award for Artists with Disabilities. It supports accessibility in the arts and celebrates the work of disabled Midwestern visual artists. Check it out and apply by May 23, 2024 to be considered.
A $3,000 award celebrating the work of mid-career 2D and 3D visual artists with disabilities working and living in the Midwest.

Our friends at Fresh Coast Film Festival have a long tradition of recognizing and encouraging new and emerging filmmakers, and with their Making Waves commitment grant, they support filmmakers and film projects from the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest region.
Projects in production or post production that align with the festival’s themes of Adventure, Conservation, and Inspiration will be considered. Fresh Coast promotes and encourages diversity both behind and in front of the camera.
Application deadline is April 30, 2024, so apply if this matches you and your projects!
The Fresh Coast Film Festival has a long tradition of recognizing and encouraging new and emerging filmmakers from the Midwest. It is in this spirit that we introduce the Making Waves commitment grant to support filmmakers and film projects from the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest region.
