Second Annual World Goth Day Mid-Michigan Film FestEvil Itinerary!!!

11:00am: Event Opens!!!: Our vendors are open for business, so it’s time to shop for some spooky wares. Monster Drag Bingo also begins. Enjoy bingo and buffoonery at The Sleepwalker micro-brew and pizzeria.

12:00-1:00: Lunch Break. Time to get lunch at The Sleepwalker (where Monster Drag continues its outrageous antics) or any of Reo-Town’s fine eateries. This lunch performance and Bingo are brought to you by the wondrous weirdos of Monster Drag!

1:00-2:50: Nosferatu The Vampyre: Lunch is done, so come on over to The Robin for the showing of Werner Herzog’s classic interpretation of Dracula. This film, starring Klaus Kinski and Isabelle Adjani, is brought to you by Dark Candles.

2:50-3:00: Shopping Break: Time to visit the vendors!!

3:00-4:30: Stoker on Stoker: After shopping, come back to The Robin for a special, virtual presentation by Dacre Stoker, author and descendant of Dracula author Bram Stoker. His unique insight into the life and history of Bram Stoker and the writing of one of the world's most beloved gothic novels. Mr. Stoker will finish his presentation with a live Q&A with audience members. Stoker on Stoker is brought to you by Dark Candles.

4:30-5:00: Shopping Break: The vendors still have plenty of good things!

5:00-6:00: Dinner & Cult Band: Hungry for food and good music? Come see The Super Secret Cult Band at The Sleepwalker. Enjoy food, drink, and uplifting songs about the coming end of days!! The Super Secret Cult Band performance is sponsored by Dark Candles.

6:00-7:30: Suck: Now that dinner is done and stomachs are satisfied, come back to The Robin for our final film of the evening. Suck is an independent comedy that has teeth! Starring Malcolm McDowell, Alice Cooper and Henry Rollins, it is the story of a struggling band of musicians who resort to becoming undead in order to resurrect their careers. Vampires Rock! The Second Annual World Goth Day Film FestEvil is proud to present Dacre Stoker! Dacre Stoker’s compelling and informative multimedia presentation, Stoker on Stoker, the Mysteries behind the Writing of Dracula, will be presented following the showing of the film Nosferatu The vampire. Stoker's presentation weaves together the details of Dracula’s history with Bram Stoker’s life in Dublin and London, and Stoker family lore, separating fact from popular fiction and revealing the truth about all things Stoker and Dracula. Illustrated with Dacre’s own collection of never before published, and seldom-seen historic images and customized to appeal to university groups, Gothic scholars, vampire fans, or history buffs, Stoker on Stoker has fascinated audiences around the world, exploring the issues behind the mysteries that have baffled Dracula scholars and fans since the book’s publication in 1897. An audience Q&A will follow the presentation. This program will be held on Zoom. At The Robin Theatre. Autographed book plates will be available.
