The Wild Plan

Last summer, we said 'The Wild Plan is a national tour of new theatre: we create shared events for communities.' This is true.

But The Wild Plan is also sunset parties on rooftops and unique new performance forms in art galleries. The Wild Plan is a new venture - an action-based think tank, an initiative, a vehicle - an innovative model for the creation and presentation of live performance around the country. In August 2011, we toured to Brookings, South Dakota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Chicago, Illinois, Columbus, Ohio an

d Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We made three pieces: two adaptations of classic plays (Moliere's 'Misanthrope' & Shakespeare's 'Macbeth') and an original music-play based on the work of Cat Stevens.

General information

The original members of the The Wild Plan are: Joshua Allen Brendan Frost Ben Gansky Suzy Kohane Skyler Nowinski & Eric Powell Holm with Ian Storey, as Liquefaction. In 2012, The Wild Plan collaborated with MYNDWORM on a tour to the West Coast working with a new form called autotheatre, and with a broad community of New York-based artists and art groups on a series of parties-with-performance called Sunset Rooftops.
