👇🏽 Here’s a FEW TIP that I want to leave my fellow photogs and vendors as well! The also applies to couples looking for a wedding photographer!👇🏽

Sometimes in order to get the shot/engagement you’re looking for, you have to SET THE STAGE; whether that’s with props, with energy and/or with interaction!

Pride yourself in not just being a photographer that stands on the side and is a fly on the way all day. (Unless that’s the request of the bridal party, in which you should definitely adhere to their requests!) — However, I find that talking/interacting with the wedding party/guests always does a few things:

1) It makes people more comfortable and at ease throughout the day. Weddings can be stressful and packed with different components for everyone to remember. Grant some peace to anyone you can by making it clear that you’re here for THEM. Whether they need something (that you can reasonably do) or if there’s a moment for a joke or two, be an AID to lightened the load of the day, not a burden against it.

2) It allows for trust to be developed/maintained across the board. That way, if you ask for something that’s a little out of the norm for someone, they’ve developed belief in you, your character and, in turn, your ideas/suggestions.

3) It makes you MEMORABLE! — There’s always potential opportunities for additional bookings at every event you shoot/vendor for. — FACT: Most guests won’t see the pictures you take until much later (and some may never see them, if they aren’t shared with them by the bride and groom). However, if you make a lasting impression, you will sell yourself by your personality and character alone! (I can personally attest to this!)
