Vedrana Subotic, a professor of piano at the University of Utah, will be performing a piano recital as a guest artist in the Snow Recital Hall on February 1st at 7:30 p.m. Her program will include the monumental "Piano Sonata in B Minor" by Franz Liszt as well as the “Dante Sonata,” several transcriptions. She will be joined by BYU-Idaho faculty member Michael McQuay for the hauntingly beautiful "Schubert F Minor Fantasy for Piano 4-Hands." This performance is free for everyone and event dress is recommended. There will be a livestream available for those unable to attend at https://www.byui.edu/music/events/watch-live. Internationally acclaimed pianist Simon Trpceski will play a concert and teach two masterclasses University of Utah School of Music January 22-24!
Masterclasses are in Libby Gardner Concert Hall, on the 22nd 3-6pm and the 24th 9-11am! Piano Recital is also in Libby Gardner on the 23rd at 7:30pm.
