These spectacular florals helped Flowers of Comfort cheer up 100 people on hospice, in long term rehab, and those residing in assisted living facilities. Thank you, Terry, Erik & Jan, for picking up early on a Sunday morning and to the whole gang for coming together on Monday morning to bring joy to others!

Ivy Park Assisted Living received 27 of our beautiful arrangements yesterday. Our fabulous volunteers created 115 in all!

One was delivered to a male resident who had never in his life received flowers. His smile was heartwarming

Flowers of Comfort celebrated the holidays and our accomplishments with a well deserved luncheon at The Villages in San Jose. In 2023, we brought cheer to 4,189 people.

We will closed for the next 5 weeks for some much needed time off. Will start bringing cheer again on Jan 22, 2024.

July 2018-Delivering a little cheer to Sunrise Villa Memory Care unit. To tell you the truth, initially, the residents were more excited to see our mini delivery people than the flowers. Here's hoping that all or our nursing/memory/residential care facilities are staying safe from COVID-19.

Thank you to the family of Teresa Bardini for personally delivering these beautiful flowers for us to reuse. Her grandaughter, Amanda, said that it would make her very happy knowing that her flowers brought joy to others.

We were able to take the flowers from @bayareacouncil United Wholesale Flowers and @californiaflowershippers to make 190 arrangements. The finished products are in the video in the comments. A very special thanks to all that helped make this happen. Smiles all around. 😍

Recyling flowers and bringing joy

Flowers of Comfort is a small group of volunteers that acquire ‘past due’ flowers, donated by local wholesalers, retailers, events, and, using charming donated containers, turn them into beautiful bouquets. These works of creativity are then delivered, on a scheduled basis to Hospice of the Valley, With Grace Hospice, residents of care/nursing homes and an east San Jose veteran’s housing facility, to bring smiles and a little cheer to those that need it the most.
