Tickets are now on sale for Blue Angel: Breaking Records!

Blue Angel is a variety show hosted annually by the Brothers of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity-Eta Nu Chapter. This year’s edition features over 40 Saint Mary’s students, faculty, and staff as they perform covers of some of the most “chart-topping, record-breaking” hits from the country, rock, gospel, and pop genres. Plus don't miss additional performances from the fraternity’s band, the “Oldie-Moldie All-Stars.”

Less than two weeks until the April 15th Spring Concert celebrating our alumni singers, previous director Patrick O'Shea and current Concert Choir members!
Join us at the beautiful Mary of the Angels Chapel on Saturday, April 15th at 7:30 PM, a cookie reception will follow giving all a chance to greet current and former vocalists as well as current director Janet Heukeshoven and Patrick O'Shea. The concert is free and open to the public, doors open at 7 PM.

The annual Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols will take place on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the glorious Chapel of Saint Mary of the Angels, located on the corner of Wabasha and Vila streets in Winona. Presented in the traditional format of alternating scripture readings and music of the season, the performance will feature the Concert Choir, men’s and women’s ensembles, and Madrigal Choir. The audience is invited to join in singing carols of the season at this beautiful and spiritual experience.

Rehearsals are underway for the 2022 Lessons and Carols Festival on December 10th, 7:30 PM. It's held in the beautiful Mary of the Angels Chapel. Mark your calendars now for this "don't miss" annual event.

Choir rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:20-5:15. Tuesday will be an organizational session, then voice placement auditions occur Thursday and Friday. Come sing with us!

Welcome to Concert Choir 2022-23! As most of you know, Patrick O'Shea left SMU early this month to accept a position at College of DuPage. Nobody will miss him more than me. I'm committed to keep music happening at SMU Winona campus as long as possible and will be leading the Concert choir this academic year before retiring May of 23.

Come join me at our informational meeting Tuesday 8/30 in Yon's 158 rehearsal room, we'l talk through plans, repertoire including some smaller select ensemble works, audition processes, etc. Auditions will be held at various times Thursday-Friday September 1 & 2 at a variety of times. Rehearsals will start the following week with my partner for life, Eric Heukeshoven at the keyboard. : )
