HANG THE DJ is a party organisation based in Brussels, focussing on alternative music: Indie, Wave, Electro, Minimal, Shoegaze, Psyche, EBM, Postpunk, etc. The commitment of our DJ's is to play a fine selection of higly danceable alternative songs, a mix of hits in original or remixed versions combined with a number of songs to (re)discover. The common denominators of the tracks are groove, depth
and melodicity. The variety of styles also allows the creation of a platform where fans from different scenes can meet. HANG THE DJ is a joint venture between 'DARKOTHEQUE' and 'Ce N'Est Pas De La Couille, Voici La New-Wave'. The name of the party refers to the chorus of the song "Panic" by The Smiths.
