had a celebration and awards evening hosted at Metrodome Events Arena last night and with Mrs SS’s surrogate neice been that of a red tie and an exceptional young up and coming footballer our support was requested for the event. Thank you to CJ55 Events the light up letters were perfect. There was a team of volunteers on hand to help set everything up and it’s been fed back that a great time was had by all (700 in attendance)

What a truly magical and memorable day. Personal friends of ours so this had so much more heart and true to our signature style it was very much about the personalised and little details that pulled everything and all together.
The sun shone, the laughter was high and everything couldn’t have gone any better.

Our last job of 2023 saw us doing a set up for a lovely lady’s 50th Birthday celebrations at the fab Toft Gate Barn. A huge THANKS to the team who were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, a great space for many an occasion to celebrate. Wood fired stove pizzas were served, live music to entertain and we hear a great time was had by all. If you’re in the area check out their cafe for home made bakes and on-site farm shop!

CONGRATULATIONS to Jamie & April who said ‘I Do’ recently we first met this lovely couple at a wedding fair hosted by Cubley soon got chatting about how we could assist with personalising their special big day then met for a consultation and got all the boxes ticked. So nice to incorporate many personalised aspects including not forgetting involving their beloved pouch Mickey with a dog treats station!
From a welcome set up to seating plan and table names to all the little finishing touches it pulled the celebrations together totally representing them.

So over the years you’ll have seen us post, share and tag the very mention on soooooo many times the business that is Sugar Fairy Weddings It’s been beyond an utter delight and joy to work with and alongside these guys like us they’re an independent family run business and we’ve shared much common ground and we have to say they’ve had our backs and given so much support when it’s been needed and for that we’re eternally grateful.
On every occasion, event, wedding job they have gone over and above in all and everything they do, perfection always key, striving to offer the BEST service and with that they always have. They are a business whom at the helm has an amazing lady who is the glue holding it all together and without hesitation reaches out and offers support, encouragement, guidance and above all friendship to other fellow suppliers in the business us been one of them. We met through our businesses, have worked together on weddings and although we fully understand their decision will be so very missed in the industry. When you recommended a business it’s never done likely and I’ve recommended the team SFW without any hesitation over the past several years and in turn they’ve done the same for us. Blessed to have gained the friendship of Justine and her family through our businesses and Sweetspaces wouldn’t be where it is without that friendship THANK YOU Justine, Nicky and all the SFW team.

So after 8 years and much deliberation I have made the very very difficult decision to close my business, due to personal and financial reasons I have decided that 2024 will be my last year of trading so this will not affect weddings already booked in, the last 8 years has brought so much stress and pressure and countless tears seriously outweighed by the laughs, smiles and happy tears, I have met so many amazing couples who trusted me with the biggest day of their lives and for this I will always be grateful, I have styled some seriously stunning venues and worked with some amazing suppliers that are now friends, thank you to everyone who has booked me, recommended me, worked alongside me, supported me, thank you to my fabulous staff members past and present
I will be continuing with the balloon & gift side of the business so will advertise this on my page and will eventually change the page name, I will always be contactable by my current Brides I'm not going anywhere, stock will be sold as and when it's no longer required and again advertised on the page and elsewhere,
