The dessert became popular on the East Coast, in highly populated areas like New York City, Philly, and the Jersey Shore. Italian Ice is NOT a snow cone, shaved ice or gelato. er ounce. I buy the ice from a small Italian company in New Jersey that's been in business since the 1950's. It is delivered to me in freezer trucks and stored locally. I offer the following flavors: Lemon, Blueberry, Cherry, Peach, Watermelon, Orange, Grape, Green Apple, Mango, and Pina Colada.
