The Art of Transformation Michael Chekhov & Williamson Technique Workshop Exploring both the rigorous psychophysical practice of these methods of training to open, release and expand the acting instrument and their physical application toward creating an "Altered State" including the illusion, sensation and physical life of “a Character that Drinks”, Creating the Illusion and sensation of an Altered State, Character Condition or Physical Impediment; including the physical sensation, experience and “illusion of an altered state” including shifts in space, time (Tempo & rhythm), weight, movement qualities, points of focus, alignment and speech patterns , altered in the process of creating a full body character impediment Rehearsal Score and Text: (one minute monologue) applying “Impediment Score” (standing walking sitting, altered state and speech and a simple physical task or stage business.

Certified Teacher Michael Chekhov Technique, trained extensively with Anne Bogart, Tina Landau, SITI Company, and Mary Overlie in Viewpoints & Suzuki. Extensive training Rasaboxes and Laban Fundamentals. Assistant Professor of BFA Movement at University of the Arts Philadelphia, PA, New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Mason Gross School of the Arts; Rutgers State University; Williamstown Theatre Festival; BAM Summer Programs, taught movement Internationally at; De Lindenberg in Netherlands; State Theatre School in Odense, Denmark; Ophelia Theatre School in Copenhagen and NYSSA New York State Summer School of the Arts. Founding Member of Expanded Arts & Shakespeare in the Parking Lot NYC. Featured in Backstage “The Physical Approach” to Shakespeare and American Theater Magazine in 2011 on the current Trends in Movement Training in theater education. Currently writing a book on the history and trends in Movement and Physical Technique for the Actor & Character Transformation “The Art of Transformation”©- Crossing Pedagogy”, a member of SAG/AFTRA, AEA, SSDC.
