We’re moving! To Lafayette , Indiana! So excited for the new adventure and what flowers are like in Indiana❤️ so ready for this next step in life! Indiana here we come!

I love talking to my flowers and telling them how gorgeous they are. I really feel like they believe it when I do. I use to get so anxious about my designs and say “ugh it’s so ugly” , “it’s making me angry”, “ugh not how pictures it” and I would get so down on myself in my designs but recently I’ve gotten this boost in confidence that I feel like improves my work so much ❤️

“Hello can you do a wedding last minute ?” Oh heck yeah!!

I love doing weddings and have had such a heart breaking stressful week so getting to work on not one but two bridal bouquets this week has been such a blessing. I’m so excited for my brides! 🥰

This week started rough and I was seriously questioning my career. But designing today and smelling the beautiful flowers, looking at my beautiful shop, and seeing the joy it brings to my customers really helped me remember; I am a good florist, I can improve sure, but I’m good at what I do;I am a kind person, I have my moments when I complain to much or try too hard to fit in but overall I’m trying to work on that; I am a daughter of God, and have been given many earthly challenges that regrettable have gotten in the way of my career, but I know that God is teaching me how to handle it slowly but surely. I love being the supervisor over my shop, I love the chaos of being a florist, and I LOVE God for helping me see that this is my talent that I can use as not only income but as a blessing to others who love art.

Surprised we found time for it in between all the craziness for mothers day we had a special funeral order today and some how found time to make it! Not sure how I feel about it but definitely one of my better square arrangements and so good to design today after all the stress of today. It’s a 6 day work week friends ,keep me and all the other florists in the world in your thoughts and prayers we’re gonna be losing it this week 😂😂

Today I had a lot of flower adventures at work; from birthday wraps to make🥳, a 25th anniversary arrangement consisting of 25 roses🌹, and getting beautiful Easter plants!🐣 but I also had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my life today and I’d be selfish not to share it;

I was going about running around like crazy trying to get orders done and plants out on the floor when a man came up to me and asked me about the flowers out on the floor (are consumer bunches, premade bouquets,etc) I explained to him the different flower types and how to take care of them and he seemed so excited and genuinely asked about them. He found a bouquet he liked a lot and accidentally knocked into one of the lilies causing it to bruise so I told him I’d take a lily from the back and replace it. He seemed so grateful and expressed to me how much he loved lilies. I asked him if he was religious and he lit up like a lighting bug and gave the most beautiful testimony of Jesus Christ. I expressed to him how the scripture “Consider the lilies” is one of the scriptures that helped me know I wanted to be a florist. We spent a good 30 minutes talking about God and he asked me “is there anything I can pray for you? “ I told him about the struggles I’ve been having and he grabbed my hands and prayed for me on the spot. He shared with me the revelation he received after praying and God knew I needed to hear it. He told me I was his angel , and God had sent me to him. The more I reflect on this interaction I really believe he was the angel God sent to me. God put us in our situations at the time we had them and blessed are paths to intertwine. I may never see this man again in this lifetime , but I’m so grateful for this interaction that may seem so simple to some but meant the world to me.

A beautiful reminder from God, to consider the lilies.🪷
