We had so much fun this afternoon shooting these beautiful headpieces at Tacoma Arts Live’s Imagine Monet exhibition at the Tacoma Armory! Monet’s works served as the perfect backdrop for the headpieces that were inspired by the gardens grown by the artist himself. Take a minute to check out some of our snaps! I learned to make my unique wreaths from Roberta Santilli of Opi Ili, a small floral studio located in Bergamo, Italy.

There will be wine! There will be charcuterie! You’ll get your own pair of Japanese floral scissors!

Spectra Flora had a great time Saturday at Tacoma Arts Live’s RECLAMATION! It was a beautiful event to welcome back the Tacoma Armory into the vibrant Hilltop Neighborhood. We enjoyed bringing fresh, luxury flowers at an affordable price to the people of Tacoma. Thank you so much to our partners at Mayesh Wholesale Florist Seattle for providing us these beautiful flowers for the event and to the Tacoma Arts Live team for all your incredible hard work in making this event a success.

What’s in our ikebana kits? Hand-curated products that you can’t find anywhere else! Our kits make great gifts for gardeners, a budding floral designer, or the plant lover in your life. Each kit includes a ceramic flower frog, titanium Japanese floral scissors, and a ceramic display tray.

We are always happy to help you source flowers for your kits! The Fernseed hosts an excellent local cut stem bar on South Tacoma Way if you’re looking to treat yourself once a week.

Ikebana is all about the nature around you. You can use cuttings from your yard, your garden, or something that is (ethically) foraged.

We’ll be selling our kits at the Tacoma Night Market on Saturday, 11/26, so stop by and see us!

Surprise! Spectra Flora will be at Tacoma Arts Live’s Tacoma Distillery Festival on Saturday, November 5th from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the Tacoma Armory.

Sample spirits from Northwest distilleries at the return of Tacoma Distillery Festival! Meet the makers, and discover your new favorite tipple to purchase and take home just in time for the holidays. Included with your ticket is a souvenir shot glass and six (6) tasting tokens. Local artists and makers will also have booths with crafts and goods for you to browse.
